Bavarian Chalet Restaurant

We ate here on April 3 2011 in our party of 13 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was fantastic and quick. I had the prime rib special and it was mouth watering.

We have to comend the Bavarian for continuing on after having bought the business from Frank, only ot have him return to town and open up the exact same restaurant in direct competition. The Bavarian is truely Cranbrook's original Steak and Schnitzel House with the best food in town, especially the Prime Rib, way better than Frank's over-priced pre-packaged stuff. Is a bit noisy there, but then try Boston Pizza.

the food at this restaurant is Absolute Gargage..the service was terrible and the restaurnat was dirty..the soup had enough salt to clear the #3 highway of ice in an ice storm..the prime rib was boiled to make tender and had neither taste nor tack..the yorkshire pudding was the pre mix type, soggy and burnt..the aus jus sauce was luke warm under seasoned water and the vegetables under cooked and cold..the baked potato was ok but not enough toppings were provided...this was the worst 50 dollars i ever spent and the worst meal i had in recent memory..Garbage..Garbage................

Food good but atmosphere not good. You never see the owners there. Could be run better.
